You can see out the windows from the inside cam, but when very bright outside it gets a bit washed out as it is focused on the inside of the cabin. Front camera at night is good but sometimes with bright lights it makes other parts of image very dark. They seemed to stop working correctly one night. I also got the GPS mount and it does its job and is an easy swap.Ĭons: I have had to reload the firmware to get inside camera IR lights to work again. Inside with the camera going to black and white and having the Infra Red lights, you can see great. It can struggle when very dark and some bright lights are coming straight at you, but it does the job.
Night vision out of front camera is decent.
I’ve tired higher resolution with just front camera and you can see a bit of a difference but I like the 2 camera mode best. Picture quality when using both cameras is very good. I hid wire around passenger side going over and around windshield on my Jeep Grand Cherokee with enough length. Mount works well and cord length for power cable is good.
